On March 28th 2010, AMS Performance added their name to an elite list of world record title holders with their EVO VIII shattering the four-cylinder record with a 228 mph at this years Texas Mile Shootout, beating the old four-cylinder record of 223 mph by 5 mph. The EVO managed its record run before falling victim to an engine fire. AMS also campaigned their world record holding nine-sec quarter-mile Nissan R35 and owner Martin Musial's 664 hp Porsche 996 with impressive results.

Video of the fiery run will be up on our homepage this coming Saturday!
